I might be buying a 94 Z28 with a bad tranny and was wondering if a 700r4 out of a 91 Z28 would swap in with little trouble. Thanks in advance for any and all help given.

it should fit, I have a 91 700R4 in a 94 Formula.

it has 93 parts inside, but the case is from a 91.

bolts right up.

 

Thanks guys for the help, but I don't think I am going to get the car after all as I just don't have the time or space for another project right now. I guess I'll just have to put the 700R4 in my GTA as I had originally planned.
