I have a 1986 Z28 IROC which I have recently installed a new ZZ4 Crate motor from Chevy and I have the TH700R4 tranny reebuilt with the performance package with larger spindle and stronger pumps and guts. My next project is to change the rear gearing. I am looking for some suggestions and if this is possible to do it yourself or if it is better left to the experts. I would like to go with a 3.73 rear since I have the 700R4 I think I can get away with this and still have some sort of decent RPM range. I would appreciate any suggestions.
