Thought at one point I heard of a guy who adapted the 8.8 ford diff to the 10 bolt axle housings so the only mount he had ot fab was the torque arm mount and he had a stronger rear that would still hold a T2R diff for autocrossing.... Just wondering if anyone else remembers or knows a way...

 

PM a guy on here that goes by Grease, he knows alot about this swap. He has done it or is in the middle of doing it, I cant remember.

I also heard fo someone getting an 8.8 differential and taking off the axle housings and adapting the differential to the 10 bolt axle housings, from what I remember anyways... is THAT possible because it may require special work but may not end up being over 1000 bucks.
