700r4 wont shift from 2-3 at wot???please help..

Hi guys, I am having a hard time trying to figure this out, I have a 93' trans am. I replaced the 4l60 that went out, and put in a 700r4 converted to non lockup... I don't have the vss plug plugged in, since it is a diff. style plus since the tranny has been converted to non lockup. it shifts fine except going wot from 2-3. I have to let up off the gas. it is killing me at the track and on some spirited runs with other cars.. anyways the tranny was rebuilt not very long ago. slightly built. kevler clutches... stage 2 shift kit. I've adj. the tv cable it is pretty much dead on. when I manually shift it or leave it in drive. it will bounce off the rev limiter until I let off the gas then will go into 3rd. all other wot shifts are fine. I did have the filter and fluid just replaced. I have a tranny cooler on it. any ideas. I did not check to see if the valve bodies are clogged? is that a simple thing to do.. any thing else I would greatly appreciate it... thanks..

Which valve body kit got installed? How many clutches in the 3-4 pack? Which 2nd gear apply servo (Corvette, 553?) are you using?

Im not sure. It was built at a tranny place here in independence missouri. I bought it from my friend who had it built but never used it. all he told me was it had billet servo's, kevler bands maybe kevler clutches and a stage 2 shift kit.... I wish I knew more. could one of the valves be sticking... it seems to shift firm and good except that one problem...
