700R4 and shift points

This thing shifts at about 5700 RPM's at WOT, but I want it to shift at about 6200 at WOT. Is there something that I can do to change the shift points to 6200 at WOT?

I am pretty sure the 700R4's are controlled by line pressure. You cannot change anything in the computers to make it shift harder. You can play with the TV cable, but use extreme caution. You can easily kill your tranny.

I understand that the computer doesnt control the 700R4. I dont want to increase the firmness of the shifts. I just want this thing to shift at about 6200 WOT without me haveing to do it manually.

B&M makes a govenor kit for the 700r-4. it's simple to do. i would start with just the springs and keep the stock weights.

i have this documented at home, but with the lighest 2 springs mine was shifting at 6600.

anyway summit and jegs sells them.
