The trans is having problems shifting into 3rd. Once it gets in gear it'll go out.

Any ideas on the prob???

 

I've had this before, several times.. just before the tranny died.

Isn't mine, just a co-worker.

He just replaced a trans that was doing this with a used one.

Anyway, he said he has to rap it out and let off and get on it again to get it into 3rd, but it drops back out.

Ya, I'm thinking its wasted, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask for him just in case.
