why the hell cant i hit a good 3rd gear, dam near every time i miss it and it feels like it goes between gears, what will stop this????? my ls1 never did this.... oh wait it was an a4 stalled 4400 lol man im starting to miss the A4

i ralize that but with my previous 6 speeds i didnd have this problem, the B&M shifter i got either sux or i have lost my touch. would a mechanical problen cause this??? its frustrating cuz from a roll i spank my bros 99 LS1 (longtubes and bolt ons) but from a dig we are dea even til i miss 3rd....dammit i know i can take him lol

 

Pro 5.0 is your friend. I love the the 2-3 shift on mine.

 

Took me quite a while to get used to my B&M but I rarely miss a gear now. Patience. Don't rush it. In time it will be perfectly natural, and you'll never miss.

 

I have never driven an aftermarket type shifter for a 6speed.
But I NEVER EVER EVER miss 3rd gear on the stocker.

I could be that you are not used to the shifter yet, just be patient (like stated above) and keep practicing.

 

i had the hurst on my car stock and missed 3rd every once and awhile but when i got my B&M i never missed keep trying
