6sp. conversion Need help

6sp. conversion Need help

looking for some advice on converting my car to a 6 speed from a A4. not to conserned with the bolting up the trans and cutting the whole in the trans hump more conserned with the hydralics of the swap let me know please thanks. BTW it going to be done in a 97SS

The hydralics are not real hard at all. It is just real time consuming. I took my steering column out so i had more room to work with the pedals the and hydralics and it was not bad at all. Just took some time. You will need two people to install the hydralics though. Just go by this guide.

Agreed, use the guide in the link he gave. Thats what I used and had no problems.

Was there any proublems with the factory A4 tranny and the 6 speed tranny working with the factory PCM any re programs proublems and suck does anybody make a template for wholes for hydrolics and the shiifter.

You do have to get your computer reprogrammed with m6 codes. My speedometer was messed up and i have to get the computer reprogrammed. Also as far as cutting the hydralics and shifter i just looked at the picture and cut from that. If you need any help let me know.
