Ok, I own a 2001 SS w/ an auto. The tranny may need to be replaced. If I do, I'm looking into converting to a 6 speed. I can't find any info on doing this and havn't talked to my mechanic about it yet. Does anyone have any info about what would need to be done. i.e. Transmission, clutch assembly, drive shaft, computer? I want to know what all needs to be taken off and added, and maybe a good place to price all these parts.
