500 dollars for rear end?

I broke my rear end already in my car. The car is at the dealer an is under warranty. But I heard that the ls1 6spd have weak rear end. I wanted to know if i have 500.00 how can I make my rear end 10 bolt stonger. The most I probably down on my car is bolt on's an a small cam.

One thing you can do is get a reinforced differential cover. It helps strengthen the rear and doesn't look too shabby, either.

they sell girdles and covers for these things, but they're really only band-aids. Just go really easy, try to not race from a dig and such, until you can afford a good 12 bolt.
