my transmission usually doesnt shift at wot anymore. It will bounce off the rev limiter than shift once i back off the gas. Sometimes it will shift fine. But mostly now it always hits the rev limiter. What would cause this? I took the car to a couple places and had it scanned and nothing comes up, and the fluid is good and has been changed about 6 months ago or so. It also has a dead spot from around 800rpms to 1200rpms where i can push the gas down and it just revs up it seems like. Im currently saving for a rebuild, once i sell the 95 4l60e i should be able to get mine rebuilt. any ideas on what is causing that stuff?

 

are the 95-97 4l60e transmissions the same? What years will the 95 work in?
