Hello, just bought a 94 camaro z28, 4L60E tranny, anyways it was rebuilt, then he put 500 miles on it, then it started to get hard to shift from 1st to 2nd, "go a little high on the RPM's in 1st then let off and it usually goes into 2nd".... did that for a while, but now does not go up from 1st at all, no manual 2nd or anything just 1st, of course still park, reverse and neutral, those work perfect.

since there is not manual 2nd, i believe the throttle valve and shift solenoids are probly OK, because it still should shift into 2nd manually, but dosent. maybe the 1-2 shift valvle? or servo? also when he rebuilt it he said the shaft or hose or whatever from the pump there was seals on that they put hose clamps on instead of shrink them? i dont know but if it leaked there that would not allow enough pressure to shift right? well any help is appreciated! if anyone else had that problem too or if anyone knows what it could be please let me know, thanks!

 

One more thing too, my speedometer only goes up to 115 MPH at the very top, i have not seen any other ones with that, they were at like 150 and stuff, anyways its a 94 z28, do i have different gears in the back? or why would my speedometer only go up to 115, thanks!
