Im looking to put a 4L60E in my 75 Camaro and was wondering if anyone out there has done this swap? I know i will have to have a driveshaft made and modify the crossmember but what else? What about shifter location? Is there anything i should know before i really start this? Thanks in advance for any help.

 

You will need to get a stand-alone computer for the trans, which is quite expensive. Auto shifters are cable operated, so you can put them anywhere as long as the cable is long enough.

 

The computer is not a problem, i can get a pcm. As for the shifter i have a console B&M Megashifter right now and i was wondering if the location on the 4L60E was the same as my TH350.
