4L60E High Stall no 1-2 Shift
OBD 1 High Stall no 1-2 Shift
With OBD 1 on a 95 Camaro, do you get the no 1-2 shift with 3200 + stall even when you manually shift the automatic? I have heard that ED Wright and PCM for less have a fix for it but I was just curious if manually shifting could work. My guess is no because then it wouldn't be a problem right?!
If the fix is the only way to run high stalls, can I then run a 3600-3800 stall with no problems?
Thanks!

well, On my 94Z, I was running a 3800 stall and got the same problem. However, I never manually shifted the car, I always left it in drive. My advice, is if your car isn't very modified, go with the Hypertech Power Programmer. For mostly stock cars, it works good since you can calibrate your shift points to however low/high you want. Hope this helps
the hypertech won't help with your stall wall problem ( torque management ). You will have to have it programed out. I have this problem and I just had my car programed by pcmforless. I will find out if he fixed it as soon as I can get to the track.
I know that the Hypertech helped my car. I just lowered the shift points and it shifted about 5800rpm's everytime after the Hypertech program. It worked for me, not saying it'll work for everyone though

I have ALOT of hands on experience with programming and diagnostics for all GM vehicles. Last thing you want to do is get around a sensor that's out of range, that's just bad tuning.
