took my car out for a ride today and if i manulay put it from 1st to 2nd it wont go into 2nd gear. But if I put it in OD it will shift into 2nd but it realyhangs in 1st for a long time no matter what and when it shifts it shifts realy hard like if it had a shift kit. Also the trany has been Freewheeling for a while. Like if you where to drive down the road in Drive and put it in second it whould be like netural till u reved it way up and got the gear to where drive and 2nd where equal at like 45mph.

 

Sounds to me like you should buy my used (but very well cared for) 4l60e for 350$ .

Sorry to hear you're having troubles, actually. I don't know too much about these things other than when they start acting up, it's time to get it rebuilt.
