4l60E build question

I have decided to build my own '60E. I am thinking all Alto racing clutchs and steels and the Alto 3-4 power pack. Going to be using a beast sunshell and installing a transgo hd2 shift kit. I will be using a fairbanks/sonnax 2-4 servo combo with a alto wide red eagle band. I am going to be using my original 97 core. I don't expect this to compare to the experts full race trannys or anything, it will be a daily driven street car with the occasional trip to the strip. My question is is this a good build to try? Does anyone have anything else I should add? I am cleaning my core up and getting the parts together before I start the build. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We have see better results from both the Zpack and the raybestos stage one racing sets than the POWER PACK but others like them.

Ok, I will use a Z-pak 3-4 then. Anything else?

I like the zpack. You might also want to add pin less accumulator pistons. If your using a wide band you will need a new drum.

other items
high rpm pump slide spring
o ring'd boost valve stock or high pressure

I was under the impression that the transgo kit contained the pump slide spring and the bigger boost valve. Is that not the case?

Yes it does have those. Also of note if you use the billet servo leave the 2nd accum stock and use the larger feed hole. Using the shims or suggested accum spring set up with that servo will result in very very harsh 1-2 at all throttle openings

The Transgo HD2 kit does not come with a stiffer pump slide spring. Buy a NoYoYo kit for 5500 rpm +. It has a stiff pump slide spring and hardened rings.
