You would have to get a 1993 throttle bracket so that you could install the TV Cable. You may also need the '93 Throttle Body as well. You will also get a Check Engine light unless you find some way to fool the computer.

are the 700r4's any better than the 4l60e? Or should i just have my 4l60e rebuilt, or get the 700r rebuilt?

right now i just have headers,catback,gears,tunning,cai....etc not to much but i plan on doing a cam swap, and probably heads along with that. I was just wondering which would be a better tranny? Or if its cheaper to rebuild a 700r?

The internals are virtually the same, so it would probably be easier just to have the 4L60-E rebuilt, then to try and retrofit the 700, which may need rebuilding anyway.
