3rd gen rear into 4th gen

3rd gen rear into 4th gen

I was woundering if a 3rd gen rear end will fit in my fourth gen car.

to an extent i think it will.

but the width is different...so it may be tricky to bolt up rims.

and it shouldn't have ABS

It should bolt up but I don't think your stock rims will fit without spacers. I know the 3rd gen rear is narrower than the 4th but I'm not sure how much. I've seen a 4th gen rear in a 3rd gen and looked like the rear wheel base was about 1 1/2 to 2 inches wider on each side. Either way I would just find a 4th gen rear. There should be no problem getting one for cheap

4th gen rears are roughly 3 inches longer total. 4th gen rims will not fit on 3rd gen axles without spacers. Just get a 4th gen rear.

Are you thinking of using that G92 9 bolt? I had one back in my GTA back in the day. I think the only aftermarket gear option was a 3.70?
