I bought a posi rear end out of an 88 fire bird and was wondering if it would bolt right in an 84 camaro. I'm speaking of the hole rear axels and everything. They booth have drum brakes if that helps. I don't want to spend all the money on gears and getting them installed if it will not work.

ps. will 3.42 be good for a weak end cruiser that goes to the track once or twice a month.
