3rd gear Syncro problem

Was wondering why when my car is in 3rd gear (T-56) it will slip out into neutral about 60% of the time? Pretty sure it's the syncro, but what needs to be replaced and what parts need to be purchased? How tough is it to do?

When looking down on the tranny face up from the rear, try removing the left torx bit and see if the rod/pin is broke. This holds shifting blocker. If this broke then 3rd gear would pop out, Either that or I would replace the entire 3-4 syncronizer and possibly the gear depending on the damage. Chances are youll only need to replace the slider if that pin isnt the problem. Pin only costs $5 but you will need to take the tranny apart to find where the other half of the pin went.
