I know 3rd gear is a problem on LT1 cars about bending shift forks. I have a stock trans with 102k on it and sometimes when i speed shift to third it feels like i hit a wall it just stops and i have to let up and try again to get it in gear my friend with a 99 LS1 has the same problem sometimes he said it seems like if he will be sure to try and push the pedal throught the floor he dosent have that problem but im sure im getting the clutch pedal down. So is this normal or am i looking at a rebuild?

 

Has nobody heard of this or has this been discussed before? I was hoping someone has had this problem or heard of it at least.
