383 stroker Transmissions problem
hey i have lt1 383 stroker that is bouncing rev limiter before it shifts into gear its has a 4l60e tranny monster shift kit and monster torck converter 2000 stall in it. The computer was send out was just wondering what you think the problem could be?

1. The computer tuning is a little off. Has to hit a rpm point and a mph point to call for a shift.
2. The trans is slipping so that the engine hits the rev limiter before the car hits the mph shift point.

i think it might be the computer also but i sent it out already to street an performance tuning so i was seeing if you know of a place that does that kinda of tuning around ny state

I assume you have non stock rear end gearing since you went to a 383.. so it could be tuning. Kickdown shift tables (speed and RPM) plus Rev limiter settings need to be correct with gear changes. Also are you sure your hitting the rev limiter not just running out of fuel (injector size or Fuel Pressure) . Rev limiter usually bucks and jerks back on when you hit it, running out of fuel just basically feels like a miss. What are your mods ?? Saw a trace recently where the injector duty cycle hit 96% and somehow the PCM pulled the car out of 3 rd and back to 2 nd.
