3000 stall issues

I have my vig. 3000 put in yesterday, everything was going fine on the way home, until i hit traffic on the highway and had to slow down from 75 to 40...i tried to accelerate and the car wouldnt go into gear....coasted off the highway and hit a stop light, then everything worked fine again...made it home with no problems.....does the computer need tuned?? I'm putting the shift kit in sat. so someone may be there with LT1 edit, should they be able to fix the prob?

You should not need any programming in order for the new converter to work. Did you get any codes? The only problem I had was that it stalled a few times until the PCM "learned" the new stall converter. I would go through the transmission again when you install the shift kit and make sure everything is good including the transmission fluid levels.

I had shifting issues on the way home from my Vig install too - they didn't have the fluid level right, had to add 2 quarts.
