3000 or 3600 stall?? for you a4 guys

Ok, guys what stall do you think would give me the best streetablity and perform well at the track. My mods are listed below. I used to have a truck forged 355 w/ a 3500 stall in it and it seemed like I had to mash the gas to get it to move from the stop light.

Thanks for your help.

Re: 3000 or 3600 stall?? for you a4 guys

I just put in a 2800 vig in my 96 and it has 3.42 gears too.The converter doesn't even seem like its in the car unless you stall it up or floor it. Its a very tight converter . Now my 3.42 likey help too but have a b and m nitrous holeshot with 3.42 gears in my 80 with turbo 400 and its a very loose converter and only 2400 stall.

I would think since hear the vig are rated 400 or so under what their true stall is that a nice 3000 to 3200 vig would be just right and still very tight.
I got mine off the boad and have no complaints at all. Its great.
