250 miles until there ready to be beat on, my speedo is 30ish mph off, I can't find no one here that will make it right though, I went to the chevy dealership and they said they can't help me. Anyone have some ideas, I cant do a mail order because I don't have the wire. Im in ohio south eastern if that helps.

Your transmission is not going to shift right until you get the calibration for the gears corrected.

I just got my 3.73's in not to long ago too and I hit it for the first time from a rolling first gear and couldnt keep the back end behind me. I cant imaging what the 3.73's will do once i hit it with the nitrous too.....hopefully u can get the speedo corrected and break-em in and start to enjoy them. If you can spare some downtime on the car then send the PCM out to get corrected, if you dont want to buy the cable.

Im pretty sure that trifecta link comes with the cable. Did you notice any change before you got yours returned, because I don't notice a difference, I have not tooken it over 3 grand yet though.

thats as straight forward as it gets, fix your pcm, and get the shifts on the bang.
for you to notice the 3.73 difference, you will have to lay into it, these are gears dude, they're not like internal engine parts which have to "break in" before hard use because of normal wear and tear, these are not made of a very fragile material, as long as there is sufficient and correct grade lube in the rear, the gears are either right or wrong and will work or fail, the bearings are the only things in there that really have to "break in", i laid into mine 5 miles away from the shop to see what they could do, even tho i didnt tack it, the change was awesome, a night and day difference, when i got my pcm re-tuned by MadZ/28 ('mad tuner' now) it hit juuuust right, now i need a shift kit to slam gear to gear and help me knock my time down a bit, but i think you will be very pleased once you nail it, i encourage you reach the mileage that makes you comfortable, and try them out

me to, i drove the crap out of it right off the bat.the manufacture says to not romp on it for 200 miles so will be able to detect any problems with the install before you ruin the gears and cry defect.

Ok, gears got quite a few mile son them now, I took it out today and got on it a few times, broke loose in 1,2, and when it shifted into 3rd. I can definently tell a difference, but still don't know how much because the speedo is off.

Just watch that 1-2 shift. I dont know how your trans is set-up but if its anything like mine then its pretty agressive. I was coming off of an off ramp and making a pretty agressive turn and it hit the 1-2 shift and brought the back end around on me. Of course i was following a new GTO that couldnt pull away from me even when i wasnt spraying so i had my hand on the button to turn on the n20 after i got around the turn....lesson learned definately keep two hands on the wheel and turn the juice on sooner

Ok, the gears are broken in 1100miles on them, changed gear oil today, Iv gotten into it pretty hard multiple times, and I love them, once I get the tune, it will be even better, the car shifts hella hard to people are claiming shift kit all the time.
