i think its time for some 3:73's in my car it's an 93 z28 a4 it had 3:23's stock but i hear that the 3:73's are a perfect match for the a4 gear wise. is this right? also i think i'm gonna go for richmond gears. is this what i want? http://store.summitracing.com/partde...&view=1&N=700+ also whatelse should i get with it do i need to get an install kit?

I went with Motive Gear. The rumor is they are suppose to be the quietest.

I had Richmonds, and I never thought the gear whine was cool. I wound up replacing them with the Motives, that whine just a little on decel.

My Richmonds do whine, but its because of the thickness and the angle the gears are cut at. The whine is indeed a good thing coming from the Richmonds just not every1 prefers them

I'm not sure about your points. But I have heard that what they use, as far as the make-up of the metal, is what makes them stronger and noisier.
