3.23->3.73

I know how to calibrate the speedo, but will I need to change my shift points if I change gears?

If I do by how much? Is it safe to do the following for the appropriate shift tables (because they seem to by Throttle % & MPH for the shift points)

3.73 / 3.23 = 1.155

Increase all shift points to approximatly 15% more than what they are right now?

If the car shifts based on mph & throttle % I don't see why you'd change the shift tables if you've already changed the speedometer calibration.

I'm no expert though, you might want to post this in the computer/programming section, you'll get a more technical response there.

Good Point, I'll do that now. Right now (looking at the tables a bit more) it looks like if the car shifts at XX mph now, id want it to shift a bit sooner with new gears since the rpm will be running 15% quicker. Basically the car @ XX mph will be at a much higher rpm if i don't. Thnx for the input though... Hopefully the comp guys will clear things up a bit

Oh ok.. sorry for the confusion. I thought you were saying make the mph 15% higher Now that I understand your way seems like it would be fairly accurate.
