Was just curious what type of rear axle the 2nd gen camaros ran? Was it an 8.5'' 10bolt?

What i want to know is if anyone can tell me what size axle tubes they have?
And what size the 4th gen 10bolt axle tubes are?


Im considering mating the axle tubes from my 10bolt to the pumpkin from one of these cars, retaining the 10bolts spring perches, LCA brackets, and brakes, then fabbing a tq arm mount. Im sure i could get custom axles made to the correct length and aftermarket posi's/gears and whatnot are very common.
