do a search in drag racing, this has come up many times. most of the time there is major hammer work on the inner fender involved, some trimming of the fender lip depending on size, and possible bumper trimming.

The thing came apart on me at the track. A while back There were a few of these clutches that seemed to come apart within 2 weeks of each other. Me and a few friends thought we got lucky then on of theres came apart. It's been a about 3 or 4 months since I've heard of any of these clutches coming apart. But now mine took a dump. But I beleive it's been a good clutch over all. But I'ld recommend stepping up to a street twin if the cash is there. I've seen a few of them floating around for a good price.

anyways thats what happened.

What gears are you going to run with that 28" tall tire? Unless you have some really deep gears or gobs and gobs of low end torque, you might be in serious bog territory with that M6. I tried running a 27" Hoosier with 375 RWHP and 4.10's and that was too much tire so I dropped back to 26 ers again. All that being said, my car is super heavy (3750). If yours is a featherweight, you might just get away with it.

My car

Steve

I think I have enough HP & Tq( 383 T trim w/aftercooler)10# of boost , with 75 shot that I haven't got to use yet ). Plus I'm not getting all the boost I should be getting, My BOV is leaking. I should be seeing 3-4 more # of boost. I'm running 3.70's with a locker, 35spline axles, BMR track pack, tubular K member, and a pileof other stuff. Don't feel like typing any more of the mods, anywho. I think I have enough low end torque.

Uh, Yep I'd say with your goodies you will not be under powered at launch.
