a buddy of mine just bought this car and i think there is something wrong with the tranny. Driving around slow it seems to shift fine, maybe just a bit slow but nothing too bad but when it's a WOT it will just stay at redline and won't shift. Sometimes it will shift but will shift very hard. Other times it will act like it wants to shift like it will go between gears and then finally go a head and shift. Anybody know if there is a shift sensor or is the tranny toast?

 

either the tranny is slipping or one of your shift soleniods are on their way out. try and put some lucas transmission fix and see if it will help any. im getting a new tranny but i have the same problem so right now i put in that lucas oil and it seem to take out the hard shifting. and right now i am manually shifting it sice it wont go down into 1st gear.
