10 bolt housing v6/v8 the same?

Simply what it says. Are the housings on the v6's the same as the v8s? Talking 4th gen 10 bolts. Also, are the axles the same? I am wanting to rebuild a rear and was thinking that I would start with a v6 housing as they are quite a bit cheaper in yards.

Thanks,
Ryan

Only real difference I can think of is that only some of the V6's came with a limited-slip carrier, but otherwise, housings and what not are the same .
