would 315 nittos hook on my setup?

car went 12.0 @ 117 (spinning my old ET streets) on a 1.8 60'
im gonna spray ~100 shot on top of that.. it has hals all around .. u guys think 315 nittos have any chance of hooking up? (4.10s, street twin)

reason i ask is that im strapped for cash and cant afford new wheels AND new slicks .. so i thought i'd just buy nittos and put them on my ZR1s

You can run those drag radials as long as you want to stay in the high 12's if your lucky For real just buy some used 26 0r 28" 10.5's. Good luck hooking. Later

NO WAY...

My little 305 with spray can't get them to hook. Last year my best was 1.84 with these new 315's and the old 275 drags also. Now with the 150 shot I can't get better than a 2.0 The 300hp/375lbft my engine makes is too much from a stand still.. I need a controller, a torque arm, or just the new 17" ET Streets. Goodluck, but I would suggest Mickey Thompson's new ET Street in the 26.0X11.50X17". I'm looking for them but I keep hearing they'll be out "next month".

Not saying the Nitto is bad because it's probably the best thing out there for actual everyday street use(I LOVE MINE), bt you have way too much power and the 4.10 gear does not help that situation.

spray on the street lol

Payam don't do it I was in a car that sprayed on the street it gets ugly ( it was on nittos) should be close to your hp levels as he went 11.8 na then had a 250 shot. Car just got stupid.

Not gonna hook on nittos at the track. Why not get some shooters and some slicks should be a cheaper way till you can get more cash
