What will I run??????

i just recently got my 93' z-28. it has a re-built motor with an A4, moroso air intake, and (YUCK!) Flowmaster exhaust. Eagle F1's on the rear, Khumo's up front. About what will a run in the 1/4?

I would say anywhere from 13.8 to 14.5. Depends on track prep and how good you can hook, the weather, and if your car is running good. On your launch dont necessarily floor it off the line, give it a little less off the start until you gain traction then floor it. With a Cai only my car ran 14.4 at 99.5....when I added a cutout and perfected my launch I was able to run time in sig with street tires. Just takes a little practice and some good conditions to run a decent time. (my prediction is 14.2 at 100 mph)

Is your car an auto? If so it matters what gears you have.

where are you located? altitude makes a difference

i'm in NC at sea level, with just SLP 2otl catback and CAI my car ran the times in the sig, automatic with 2.73 gears too, i dont see why yours wouldnt run similar times, just gotta make sure your staging shallow and do NOT get in the water

if your considerably higher than sea level then you may be in the 13.8 - 14.5 range

you should be able to hit a high 13. I had no trouble getting well into the 13's with intake, and cut out in my '93 my first time at the track. Just be sure the weather is good, if it's real humid your times will suffer.
