what kins of time's are you guys outhere with 3rd gens running and what type of mods do you have??

 

you'd prolly have more luck in the 3rd gen section.

BTW, my buddy has a '90 TPI 5.7 A4 hardtop 2.73'd car than went a best of 14.2 @ 99 when it was bone stock.

as far as modding it, i would suspect it wouldnt be too hard. the power is not too much different from the LT1s, the LT1s just have more top end. i think the camshaft in the TPI 5.7s is very small. i know my buds car redlines at somewhere between 4,5-5k. but i dont think it would take too much to get one running good.

i went 12.90@109 my first time with a 355, trickflow heads, comp xe274 cam, 1.6rr, rpm air gap intake, demon 750 carb. It's got a t56 with spec stg 3 clutch, spohn torque arm, 4.10 gears and drag radials.
