What Should I Run?

I plan on going to the track in about a month. I live in NJ and Im planning on going to englishtown. I only have 2 mods, slp air box lid, and holly powershot filter. My tires are street but very good tread. Whats the best / worst time i can expect? BTW My car is a 2000 Firebird Formula M6 with a functional ram air hood. Thanks to all.

best would be low 13's,worst would be 14's. Just hope you dont spin too much.

actually, the absolute BEST would be some 12.9s, but dont expect it, especially not your first time out.

you'll be doing good if you can get low 13s.

course, if you're not a newbie to draging, and you throw caution to the wind, you could throw some slicks on and have a much better chance of getting that 12.9

My best guess in 13.2-13.6 on the average. However if the track is greasy or you haven't done much racing, or the air is bad, or a multitude of other factors.... Could be in the 14's. Perfect conditions, a faster than normal car, and perfect experienced driving, excellent traction, you could go quicker...

Run it and then tell us about it. I like Englishtown.

There should be NO WAY that u hit 14's...Even with a bad launch, just shouldnt happen. Expect 13's for sure. I'm guessing
13.7 with stock tires b/c im expecting a bad launch and 60ft time..

Good luck
