What does this ET translate to with a 2.0 60'

Anyone know approximately what this ET will drop to with a 2.0 60 foot?

R/T 0.825
60' 2.315
330' 5.917
1/8 ET 8.828
1/8 MPH 85.29
1/4 ET 13.474
1/4 MPH 105.84

Is there more MPH to be had with a better 60 foot? Thanks.

I have made some calculations for you:

With a 2.0 60' ft, on a 12" rollout tree, you would have the following times:

330' 5.538
1/8 ET 8.450
1/8 MPH 86.07
1/4 ET 13.008 <--
1/4 MPH 106.36

So, you see, you gain a lot in ET by improving your 60'ft., but you will run basically the same 1/4 MPH

SOUNDS ABOUT RIGHT

I usually see 2 tenths up top from ever tenth improved in the 60ft.

Thanks Guys!

Damn my car is slow! Those times are after the CAM install. I was running a 13.834@102 with a similar 2.305 60'. Kinda makes me regret opting for the leather interior now.

Yes, but what elevation are you running at? Elevation and weather can make huge differences in 1/4 times and mph.

This is after the cam install?! Hmm...Have you had your PCM reprogrammed? I run 13.48 all day with a good tune and an otherwise mild bolt on LT1, on motor. Considering, that you have a cammed LS1, your mph seems waaay low for me, but correct me please if I'm wrong!

For a good PCM tune drop a line to Madwolf, he can set you up.

For every tenth you knock off on your 60 ft. equates to 2 tenths in the 1/4. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

OK somebody tell me what is wrong with my car.
Here are two runs one stock (full weight, 1/2 tank), one with LID/K&N/LS6 cam &springs/!spare/!jack (1/2 tank). Both at carlsbad CA, 120 ft above sea level, in 77-85deg. weather.

________stock______modded
60'______2.306_____2.315
330'_____6.035_____5.917
1/8 ET___9.063______8.828
1/8 MPH__81.84_____85.29
1/4 ET___13.875_____13.474
1/4 MPH__102.00_____105.84

Why is my MPH so low

I'm still running the factory LS1 tune. I wasn't planning on getting it tunned till after the shorties, and cutout. I know I at least need to up the rev-limiter to 6600 and the shift points to 6300-6500 to see better gains with this cam. The car dynoed 306.9rwhp/325.8rwtq bone stock and 309.6rwhp/328.7rwtq with the lid and filter. Those numbers should be good for a 104-105 trap right?

Who did the cam swap? Are you sure it was done right?
You can get a tune now, and as add more parts to your car, you can have it tunde for the upgrades free.

You mph is so low because of the 60ft times. You pick up a solid .4 from the mods? That isn't too good for a lid and ls6 cam. Buy some drag radials, lca's and subframes connectors. It will really help you out.
