What do you think I will run?

I am heading to the drag strip for the very first time on Saturday If I can get a helmet by then that is. My car is a 1999 Formula T-tops, A4, 3.23 gears with 12" dynomax bullet muffler in the I-pipe, SSRA and TSP lid as the only mods so far. The track will be Byron in Illinois. Not sure what elevation we are.

My tires are regular street tires (KDW's). I have researched till my eyes bled and I have been practicing 1100 rpm launches for awhile now. If I pull off a 2.0 or 2.1 60' then what do you think I can get for a 1/4 mile time?

Only reason I am asking is that I will not be able to get a safety loop in time. I know at 12.99 or lower you need one. I doubt I can break into the 12's with my few mods and street tires but I would certainly hate like heck to line up and somehow get a 12.99 with a 2.0 60' and then find myself kicked out after only a few runs.

What do you all think? Am I safely in 13's or is there a chance at 12's? Kind of ironic that I want to be told I'll be slower rather than faster, LoL.

Thanks,

I think it is unlikely that you will run under a 13. I wouldn't worry about it.
