hey, i just finished my car, well i went ahead and added a comp xe 224/230 cam, 1.6 rr's,intake p/p, heads p/p, comp valve job,milled 11:1 compression, mac headers, slp lm, highflo cat, slp CAI, and 6 speed w/ 3.42's would i stand a chance against a viper or a z06? the engine dynoed 452hp, and 488ft/lbs tq. just wondering what u think ill be looking at for times or such. thanks guys..

 

What kind of tires and suspension setup do you have? If you hook youll be somewhere in the 12s I would guess. Kinda hard without more info. Low 12s.....high 11s on slicks???

 

sorry to be vague, im planning on subframe connectors, and nittos after i recive my tax return, also thinkin bout 3.73, w/ stud and girdle kit.

You're gonna need more suspension work than that to hook.

But I can see you in the high 11s with traction. Not too bad at all really.

 

I agree, you'll need more suspension work. HOWEVER, there are people cutting 1.6's with stock suspension but i recommend getting AT LEAST some LCA's and Re-location brackets as well.
If lowered, then also a PHR..
