Im gonna be heading to the track in the nxt week or so. Just curious as to what i should expect. Idk what id run. I haven't had anybody race me that I could somewhat judge times.


Stats:
95 6spd z28 LT1 98,000 miles.
Tune up done by previous owner about 20k ago. New opti,plugs wires everything.
Baseline dyno it put down 262wh/285tq. only had hollowed cats.
Current mods:
cc502,
comp cams 1.6 sa rr's, pushrods, 987 springs etc.
pcmforless tuned
K&N cold air intake
T/b air foil
Jet hot long tube headers.No egr No cats.
custom y pipe with dual cutouts to a borla exhaust.
160* t-stat
Spec stage 2+ clutch kit
short shifter idr the brand.
3.73 gears with rebuilt 7.5" rear. (Since rebulid I can get the car to chirp 3rd and 4th!!! even with the nittos on
replica zr1 wheels 9.5" Rears are NItto 555r 275/40/17. Fronts Idr the brand or size.
I still have to do the free mods also.

I dont know what to expect in the 1/4. Any guesses? Traction isnt a problem. The Nittos hook up pretty well. Before the rims/tires I used to light up 1st gear regardless of how i launched it.Now at @2500rpms it spins for maybe 5 feet then hooks and goes

how good of a driver are you? Have you ever raced a car at the track before?

Never raced at an official track before. But i have no problem launching the car and hitting gears. I can consistently(sp?) chirp 3rd and 4th with 30 psi in the Nittos.

 

I change my answer to 14's then.....with a 2.3 60'

 

lol thats what i figured. I know the first times i will most likely get crappy times till i get used to the track and how everything works from the staging lane and the lights.
