Went to the track yesterday

Went to the local 1/8th mile track yesterday for a little test and tune in the nice weather on my 275/60 M/T DR's. First run was on 15 psi,the others were on 12 psi. This is the first time Ive been to the track in a good year and a half and the first time ive been w/ this car, thats why my RT times are garbage. Check out the 60 ft. times on the last 2 runs .

First run:

RT- .934
60- 1.809
330- 5.037
1/8- 7.723
MPH- 91.03

Second:

RT-.897
60- 1.741
330- 4.967
1/8- 7.668
MPH- 90.61

Third:

RT- .949
60- 1.741
330- 4.933
1/8- 7.615
MPH- 91.25

Track wasnt that sticky..definately needed slicks but I was just doin a few shakedown passes. Would be a low 7 second car if I leave good and with traction.

EDIT: Oh yea, this was through mufflers.

Re: Went to the track yesterday

TH375 = poor man's TH400

It's similar to a TH400 except it uses less friction plates and has the same size output shaft as TH350, PG, 700R4 etc instead of the larger shaft found on a TH400. The tranny is the same length as a TH350.

Technically you can think of it as a beefy version of a TH350 with TH400 gearing more than a light duty TH400.

As for the runs, MPH is consistant on all 3 runs. ET performance can be seen in the 60' times. Nothing wrong with 1.7xx 60' times for a street car. Depending how well it runs on the top end, it's easily a high 11 second car. Got a roll bar, fire jacket etc to run into the 11's?
