VHT Track bite works great

I made about 5 passes 1 was NA on 26X10.5 16 et streets last night and the best I could get was a 1.84 on the motor and on the spray..on my last pass of the day i put some VHT on my tires and pulled a 1.69 but only ran a 7.73 @82.07mph 8th mile my best run of the night was a 7.66 with a 1.85 60ft(no vht)@92.78 mph.. I left the car in 2nd gear after doing my burnout.. I was so but it did make for a cool video nothing like shooting flames out the back of a car I am going to use this stuff on every pass now If I have problems hooking up anymore... Just give it a try its good stuff Here is a link VHT

this was the first time I used it.I would probally put it on every 2 passes or when it stoped hooking I used it on my last pass so I dont know how long it would last I sprayed it on my tires and done a smallish burn out Just get the tires smoking a little .... and I always give it a pratice launch before I pull to the line..

What was the weather like when you used it? I'm asking because I used to use it but I discovered that it works great when the weather is hot. When it gets cold or late at night and you spray it on the tires, it doesn't dry up or turn tacky. Instead the tire is very slippery.

Grease I used it on my last pass at about 9:45 I would guss 65* out side...
Taner I dont go into the water box when using the vht.. it will be slippery untill its heated up. when you heat the tires it evaporates the vht and leaves behind a sticky film.. really sticky thats one reason I let off the break and let the car spin a few feet.. but I dont hold it to the floor in fear of breaking the rear..

It tacks up pretty good on it's own. After filling some jugs last year, I went inside to watch TV. It couldn't have been more than 10 minutes and the remote was sticking to the pads of my fingers.

I've used it a couple times on the street. An old set of Nittos I had got shot with it everytime I raced.
