Thumbs up The Vert runs 11.73 & breaks 120's N/A

I went to the big EFA event in MD Sunday (track was MIR) and ran a new best and hit another goal I've been after. I went

11.73 @ 119.95 with a 1.76 60'

later I ran

11.80 @ 120.32 (1.83)
11.83 @ 120.49 (1.83)

I started experimenting with power shifting a bit yesterday to see what I could pull out of her. Quickshotkimber pulled 27.55mph out of the car up top at VMP about 2 weeks ago so I decided to give it a shot to see what I could do. My best up top is 26.xx mph. I know I saw a puff of the brown smoke on one run so I don't think powershifting is for me.

I ran the car on skinny's and 17x11 ZR1's 315 Nitto's. She's still bone stock bottom end, 4.10 gear and the twiggy 10-bolt.

Someone that went with us shot video so hopefully I'll get a copy of it and try to post it.

Anyway it was a lot of fun and there were quite a few new bests yesterday.

Awsome Gary. I know that car has another 2 to 3 mph in her. She pulls like crazy all over. I don't know too many M6 converts with heads and cam that are running those ETs or MPH. If you guys only could watch him run. He is so easy on it out of the hole and then he is GONE! Congrats Gary!

That's awesome! Makes me want to tune this local Joe O. cammed car as soon as the heads come back from Tin Shed. Almost can't wait to see what it can do.
