traction control

ok question seems simple but i cant search and find a definate answer anywhere.

is it possible that my car is equipped with traction control even though i dont have the perform/tcs switches in my console?

1996 trans am

it seems to almost bog down when i take off from the line, maybe i just need gears?

I really wouldn't be able to tell from here I was just stating that if it doesn't have the switch it wouldn't have TCS/ASR.

I think its now obvious theres no traction control, it rained yesterday and i got out in a deserted parking lot and romped on it....the car just needs some tuning in apparently
