Traction by BMR.

Anyone have a lowered car and use the BMR relocation brackets to help the traction issue?
Did it help ? I can't hook a very impressive holeshot with this convertor,i have just been able to finesse a soft launching 1.62 on the bottle.
Can not even dead hook on the motor yet. I am in the middle of installing the kit and am curious on other peoples experience with the same set up.

Yes they do help. I don't have mine yet but all my friends with lowered cars have them and YES they do help. Night and day difference. I was at the track last night getting more wheelhop than you can imagine, belive me I can't wait to get these things in.

KC- Good to hear that.

Chris- I think a 1.62 with this convertor is not good, the guy i got it from was pulling 1.58 's on drag radials all n/a stock internals.
I have not even touched that with drag radials and nitrous or the 1 time to tried my new E/T Streets it still did not happen(was a bad day at the track though).
I'm looking for 1.4's on the bottle and 1.6 range on the motor.
Hoping the BMR relocation brackets help with that.
Thanks for the prop's though.

Do the relocation brackets work on 12 bolts?

No the BMR kit only fits the factory 10 bolt axle.
Maybe some other kits fit a 12 bolt, but i dont know which ones sorry.

Dude, thats only .04 difference!!! I'd say your doing pretty damn good. . .

BTW, I might be wrong, but I THINK (been awhile) I have BMR relocation brackets on my Moser 12 bolt. . . Didn't notice any problems putting them on.

Stealth Z - i did that 1.62 on nitrous and the guy pulls 1.58 on all stock internal n/a power. NOT COOL.

But i got the brackets on and went to the Camaro Nationals and with E/T streets and a great track i pulled 1.73 60's all day long on the motor and got a 1.56 on a 125 shot and lifted a wheel on the launch- How cool is that!!!
Heat and humidity was a factor this weekend , but i still got a few new best times in.
