Track tomorrow night - new mods - What will it run now?

Yep, another one.

Times from last year:

13.600@100.68 1.90 60'

Mods: CAI, TB bypass, 3000 converter, 3.42 gears, SLP Loudmouth, Drag Radials

Added:

GTP 4 Cam : .224/.236 Duration @.050" 226/236, Lift I/E .501/.526 (1.5 stock rockers) Lobe separtion 114
Appropriate valvetrain
Hooker 'JetHot' Shorties
NGK TR55 plugs
MSD 8.5 wires

Very minor self tuning - Adjusted idle, hopefully adjusted shift points, correct gearing

I still need to add Elect WP - 1.6RR and a couple of other small things.

My estimate is: 13.20 - 13.40's

May be low, may be high. Will find out tomorrow.

I know there are people that have gone faster on fewer parts but this is my guess - knowing the track I visit and the fact that I've never seen a bolt-on car run faster than 13.50's where we are. It's been done by people on this board but that never happens at our local track for whatever reason.

Im not real sure, but personally with your mods I would be pissed off it I didnt run a 12 second pass. Although on that same note I would have been pissed running a 13.6 with the mods you did have.......I would think a 1.8 60foot and 13.3 13.4 should have been acheivable with those mods.

Yeah, I agree. The 13.6 @ 100 isn't TOO bad, but you think the cam is only gonna give you 2 - 4 10ths? Damn, I hope the car runs at LEAST a 13.0 @ 110 or so. You have shorties, so maybe 108, and being an auto, if you hook a 1.8 60', you should be good in the 12s.

I'm gonna go tommorow and see what this comp 305 can do. Sucks its just an 1/8th mile track tho.
