track day

going to track for first time tommorrow 1/4 mile. i have a 6 speed with mods in sig. 275 40 17 comp ta's should i lower tire pressure? how should i launch? thank you, any other tips would be appreciated.

Drop them to around 24 pounds and launch just off idle. If you hook up raise the rpms a couple of hundred and try it again. Keep going until they break loose and then knock it down a notch.

Let folks know it is your first time and you will probably get some good advise. Watch the others and how they do it. The only stupid question is the one you don't ask.

Most of all have a good time and don't try to be John Force the first day out.
