Tire siping?

read a report recently that said they tested Michelin Pilot sports and saw a 200% increase in wet traction from siping them.

How would this relate to dry traction at the track with street tires?

I have no idea, but since they are street tires I would normally assume that any drag radial would be more appropriate for the strip.

If you plan on doing burnouts or aggressive driving, dont get it, it will take chunks out of the tread.

And any slicks would be more appropriate than a drag radial at the strip.

I stopped doing burnouts on street tires 10 years ago when I turned 18, and burnouts at the track are pointless on street tires.

Nittos don't hook worth a sh*t on my car, only BFG drs, and they only last about 2000 miles. If I wanna DRIVE my car ever, I gotta get street tires. Siping tires just sounded like a happy medium between regular street tires and drag radial for traction.
