Question tips for first time at the track with an m6?

What the title says... Ive never been to the track before and im going may 1st. Ill either be running comp t/a's or eagle F1's. Anway here's the situation... I dont think there is much left to my clutch. Its not slipping at all really, but its all at the end of the pedal if you know what i mean... I can shift by only pressing the pedal 2-3." Anyway... how should I launch like this? I cant hold it half clutch while the countdown lights blink cause I know Ill roll past the starting line. I guess I have to dump it at just the right time? Also im trying to be as easy on my clutch as possible since Id like to pay the car off before Im under it replacing the clutch

Mods are in the sig... mid-bottom of first page.

Thanks

just be careful. i wouldnt suggest dumping the clutch on ANY kind of street tire, they are just going to go up in smoke. i, get up to the line...let out on the clutch to were the car will roll....put on the brake and rev to about 2k. when last yellow hits, i let out on the brake and ride out the clutch a little. good luck and have fun. remeber, dont be discouraged if u dont run up to your expectations. Practice makes Perfect!!!

On street tires when you line up rev to 2-2.5K rpms (NO HIGHER).

Then leave on the last light before the green.

I just let the clutch go, IT WILL GRAB, but then bog down (Thats street tires for you) and after it does that just get on it and if you heated up the tires good enough it shouldn't spin after that.

The best 60' on my tires (275/40/17 sumitomo's) was a 1.9 with 20psi. and I can pull consistant 2.0-2.2 60's.

GOOD LUCK!
