Re: Those with ET Street Radials

I just put a set on my T/A and I am still geting used to them but I do a good 20-30sec. burnout and have run air pressure from 20psi all the way down to 15psi. w/o much difference. Another guy told me they are running 13 with good results with a low 10sec.ride like myself. I plan on trying that too but start off high 19-20 and work your way down unless they hook then leave them alone b/c the higher the pressure the better. Later

30 sec, are you sure? You would only get 4-5 passes out of a set of tires with that long of a burn out I would think. Usually 8-10 seconds is all you need, burn the water off, heat the rubber.

Personally i only let them heat up about 5 seconds after i get some white smoke then push in the clutch and let the car roll out of it and they hook really good. I usually run about 12-13 lbs in them.

Maybe not 30sec. probably 15-20 but I already have over 20passes and about 200 hard street miles and they still look like new. Later
