Terrible Run...
Terrible Run...
Tonight was the first night I got my T/A out on the track and only got to do one pass. It is a terrible pass but just curious what yall think I could get out of it with a REAL 60 foot! Here is my timeslip....
R/T=.765
60'=2.727
330=6.608
1/8=9.710
MPH=79.58
1000-12.390
1/4=14.678
MPH=98.71
R/T=.765
60'=2.727

Re: Terrible Run...
I read that each .1 you get off your 60 foot equals to .2 of your E/T. Is that true? If so I should be pulling very low 13's.
PS: Last night was my first and only run ever in this car at the track. I will try some more for the last time next week.

Re: Terrible Run...
very roughly and in ideal situations- i would say its more commonly .1 = .1-.15 but again u really cant predict by that alone-
i think that with ur times u should be pulling about a 13.6-13.8

Did you do a burnout?
what kind of tires are on there?
did you go around the water box?
When were you shifting? If its an auto, what gear was it in?
Did you try and stall?
all this helps in determining how you drove it.. and what it may be capable of.
Re: Terrible Run...
Well from racing before on the street I have tried stalling it up and that killed me. Then I tried from a dead stop punch and that was almost as bad as stalling. Then I rolled a little off the line and hit it and they gave me the best results so that is what I tried here but I guess I cruised way too long before the punch. I have Eagle F1's on the rear and it is an auto. Shifts right around 6k I believe.

Re: Terrible Run...
you dont wanna roll out for very long.....really just to avoid the shock of going full throttle off the bat, and then you gotta get on it. A 2.7 60 foot is like a honda civic 60 foot........usually bad 60 foots in a fbod are in the 2.3-2.4 range at worst, so something definately went wrong.
Re: Terrible Run...
just stomp on it and you will get better 60fts. lol.. i just straight out stood on the gas as soon as the light when and i ran a 2.3... witl little practice i got that down to a 2.01
